Shelly an Australian citizen, and Rob an English citizen met 9 years ago whilst working overseas. They fell in love instantly and kept in close contact whilst they were both working in different countries. As time went on, they couldn’t stand to be apart and whilst Shelly worked as a dancer, Rob stayed with her. During times that Shelly didn’t have work, Rob worked on a cruise liner and Shelly stayed with him. Unfortunately, due to the nature of their work, it was rare that they could both work at the same time in the same country.
After 4 years into their relationship, Shelly and Rob got married in the United Kingdom, they lived together for 4 months, but then Rob returned to work on cruise ships. Shelly and Rob continued to travel the world together following work.
After 5 years of marriage and having no place to call home, Shelly and Rob decided that they had had enough of their transient lifestyle and wanted to settle down in Australia, buy a house and have children.
Shelly and Rob came to us at Migration Agency Australia to help them as they were concerned that they were unable to fulfill the criteria for a partner visa as they have no joint bank accounts, no joint assets and no address that they jointly call home.
We were able to help Rob secure a partner visa in only 7 months from application and reach his dream of a permanent life together with his wife in Australia. Rob and Shelly can now relax and work on the rest of their dream of having their own family.
